E.T. is the 47th Dual Champion Gordon Setter in the breed's history!
Whelped October 5, 2001,
OFA Excellent. E.T. is owned by Carolyn R. Gold of Spellbound Gordons.
E.T. is a 63 - 65 pound dog of medium build. He has nice dark eye and medium coloring
with a relatively straight coat.
After a strong early successful bench career - ET was trained and handled to his
field points by Jim Basham. E.T. completed his Field Trial Championship in
the spring of 2006, making him one of less than 50 Dual Championship
Gordon Setters in breed history. Congrats to E.T., Carolyn Gold and Jim
Basham on this outstanding achievement. We are very pleased to be able
to tap into E.T.'s pedigree.
Bench highlights:
- Winners Dog, Best of Winners, Best Puppy and Judge's Award of Merit - GSCA National Specialty - 2002 (from the 9-12 puppy class. Entry was 600 dogs, there were 75 Specials).
- BOB over Specials at 6 month of age, handled by Caroline.
- Best In Show Specialty win (BISS), Golden Gate Gordon Setter Club, October, 2003.
We think so much of this Vegas x ET breeding that we
intend to retain a puppy or two from this litter as foundation for the future
